Three Life Wallet athletes continue to impress in the ACC by being announced as members of the All-ACC preseason team: Punter Lou Hedley, tight end Will Mallory and offensive tackle Zion Nelson.
Hedley is a sixth-year redshirt senior from Mandurah, Australia, is a two-time Second Team All-ACC selection, an Associated Press Second Team All-American, a Ray Guy Award finalist in 2020, and a semifinalist in 2021. He averages 45.2 yards per punt, including 60-yard punts each year.
Will Mallory is a fifth-year senior out of Jacksonville, Florida, and in his four seasons as a Hurricane, he has seventy-three receptions for 1,006 yards and eleven touchdowns. He is a member of the 2022 Mackey Award Watch List.
Zion Nelson is a fourth-year junior from Sumpter, S.C., and has played in all thirty-six games since he arrived in Miami in 2019. He was All-ACC Honorable Mention in 2021 and has helped the Hurricanes in twenty-three games, average over 444 yards per game including over 300 in the air.
