The futbol world is now on an international break, as top players from every major league are playing for their home country to qualify for the World Cup. In a weekend full of memorable events, here are the five most incredible moments of the international break:

1. Lionel Messi– Lionel Messi continues to dazzle. In the first game for Argentina since joining Inter Miami, the Argentine superstar did it again, winning the game with another amazing free kick:

Messi now has 65 career free kick goals tying David Beckham for 5th place on the all-time list.

2. Neymar- Neymar made history for Brazil, as he became the all-time goal scorer for the Brazilian national team. He scored two goals to give him 79 international goals, two more than Pele. Here is the moment he broke the record:

3. Lamine Yamal– The youngest player in the history of Spain’s national team made his debut this past weekend. The 16-year-old phenom capped off his historic day by later scoring a goal becoming the youngest player ever for the Spanish national team to also score a goal.

4. Cristiano Ronaldo
– It was a bittersweet win for Portugal on Friday as Cristiano Ronaldo received a yellow card and was ejected from the game because of his tackle of Martin Dubravka. Ronaldo will now miss Portugal’s next game against Luxembourg.

5. Inter Miami– Inter Miami continues to win even without Lionel Messi. Inter Miami was able to win 3-2 with two goals from Leo Campana and the game sealing goal from Facundo. Inter Miami who was once the worst team in the Eastern Conference is now a confident squad who is winning even when Messi is not there.
