Two Life Wallet Hurricane Athletes Named Honorable Mention Pre-Season All Americans by Pro Football Focus

Congratulations go out from Life Wallet to Miami Hurricane and Life Wallet Athletes’ cornerback Tyrique Stevenson and left offensive tackle Zion Nelson on being named honorable mention Pre-Season All Americans by Pro Football Focus. Miami last had All-Americans back in 2020 when defensive end Jaelan Phillips and punter Lou Hedley were named to the second team.

 In his first season with Miami, Stevenson had 43 tackles, 2.5 tackles for loss, 0.5 sacks, five pass breakups and an interception. Stevenson was also the best coverage CB for the Miami Hurricanes in 2021. Stevenson was Honorable Mention All-ACC in 2021.

 Nelson started 32 of the 35 games in the three years he has played for Miami. Following the 2021 season, Nelson was named honorable mention All-ACC. Several 2023 NFL Mock Drafts project Nelson will be a first-round selection. Nelson will be the anchor of an experienced Miami offensive line in 2022.  Nelson is currently ranked 33rd on the PFF NFL Draft Big Board. Nelson is the only Miami player in the PFF top 50.
