Safety Kennedy Urlacher Previews Miami, Other Top Schools Ahead of Commitment

Class of 2024 safety Kennedy Urlacher, a three-star prospect according to On3 Sports’ Industry Rankings, is set to announce his college commitment on Monday, May 1 at 6 p.m.

The Chandler (Ariz.) High School defender totaled 34 tackles, two passes defended, an interception and a fumble recovery in his junior campaign.

Urlacher told LifeWallet Sports that the most important factors he’s considered in this decision are “a good education, somewhere where I can get on the field fast, and good relationships with coaches.”

He also previewed each program that made his top schools list on April 28.

Miami

“Enjoyed the visit a lot, loved the environment.” 

Notre Dame

“Great education and relationship with coaches.”

TCU

“Enjoyed the visit over there a lot, good football.”

Penn State

“Good football school.”

Kansas State 

“Loved the facilities on the visit, as well as the coaches.”

Illinois 

“Good school. I like the coaches a lot, produce great defensive backs.”
