Pack would shoot a perfect 6-for-6 from the foul line, recording season highs in makes and attempts, which included a 4-for-4 clip in the last five seconds to seal the win over the Tigers. This is the third time in the 2022-2023 season a Canes hooper has garnered ACC weekly honors, as fourth-year junior guard and LifeWallet athlete Isaiah Wong earned the recognition on both December 12th and December 27th, 2022.
It is only the second time in men’s basketball program history Miami has received three such honors in one season, Wong and Pack join the ACC conference title-winning 2012-2013 Hurricanes, where Durand Scott won the weekly honor twice, and Shane Larkin once that season.
There are now 12 players in Hurricanes men’s basketball history who have won ACC Player of the Week, as Wong and now Pack have joined prestigious company.
