Miami’s Mario Cristobal Selected as One of The Most Intriguing College Football Coaches

Life Wallet Sports knows how intriguing Coach Cristobal can be, but now, the rest of college football nation is on alert! Cristobal is now ranked by Sports Illustrated Pat Forde, as number 11 of the top 25 Most Intriguing College Football Coaches heading into the 2022 season.

Forde had the following to say about the new Hurricane head coach:

11. Mario Cristobal, Miami. No program is trying harder to dial back to a specific point in time than the U, which hired the former Hurricanes offensive lineman to rekindle the glory days of the 1980s and ’90s. Armed with a startlingly aggressive collective to help recruiting efforts, Cristobal is applying his fiery intensity to the job of toughening a program gone soft. Cristobal went 35–13 at Oregon, including a Rose Bowl victory and an upset at Ohio State, but left just enough on the table to wonder whether he can coach as well as he recruits. There is ample room for a resurgent power in the Atlantic Coast Conference; can Cristobal get Miami to finally deliver?

Can Coach Cristobal deliver? At Life Wallet we recognize Coach Cristobal has already started to deliver for Miami with both his coaching staff and in recruiting.  The coaching staff he has brought in, well, it’s got people talking. From Hall of Famers to Broyles Award winners to former NFL coaches and University of Miami Hall of Fame members, Coach Cristobal’s coaching staff is loaded. Currently, in recruiting, the Miami football program ranks third nationally in the 2023 recruiting rankings. Life Wallet Sports knows it is going to be a great 2022 football season at the University of Miami and we move Coach Cristobal up to the number one spot as “The” most intriguing college football coach.
