The Miami Hurricanes, following their 41-7 away victory over the Temple Owls on Saturday, have ascended two spots to claim the No. 18 ranking in the AP Top 25 Poll. They also climbed three spots to reach No. 18 in the USA Today Coaches Poll.

Miami (4-0, 0-0 ACC), initially unranked at the start of the season, garnered 523 votes from the AP poll, after receiving 359 votes last week.

With a bye week ahead, the Hurricanes will enjoy some well-deserved rest before returning home to Hard Rock Stadium to face off against the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets (2-2, 1-1 ACC) on Saturday, October 7th. The game time and broadcast details are yet to be determined. Worth noting, Miami defeated the Yellow Jackets with a 35-14 score in their last encounter in 2022.

Among the ranked teams in the Atlantic Coast Conference, Miami stands alongside No. 5 Florida State (4-0, 2-0 ACC), No. 15 North Carolina (4-0, 1-0 ACC), and No. 17 Duke (4-0, 1-0 ACC).
