The Nike EYBL circuit, featuring some of the best high school basketball talents in the country, was back in action this weekend with Session 2 in Phoenix.
Several Miami Hurricanes targets were in action across multiple age divisions. Here’s how each of them played.
Class of 2024
Forward Marcus Allen
Allen averaged 13.3 points, 8.5 rebounds, 2.5 assists, one steal and 0.8 blocks in four games played. His best performance was against the NW Rotary Rebels when he scored 14 points on 7-of-9 shooting from the field and grabbed seven rebounds.
Center Thomas Sorber
Sorber averaged 10.8 points, 7.5 rebounds and 1.3 blocks in four games played. His best performance was against Drive Nation when he recorded an 11-point, 12-rebound double-double.
Guard Billy Richmond
Richmond averaged 16.8 points, six rebounds, two assists, 1.3 steals and one block in four games played. His best performance was against New York Renaissance when he totaled a 25-point, 10-rebound double-double.
Forward Garrett Sundra
Sundra averaged seven points and 4.3 rebounds in four games played. His best performance was against ProSkills when he scored 11 points on 3-of-5 shooting from deep and grabbed eight rebounds.
Guard Jaeden Mustaf
Mustaf averaged 14 points, 4.7 rebounds, 2.3 assists and one steal in three games played. His best performance was against the Oakland Soldiers, when he posted 18 points and seven rebounds, also shooting 10-of-12 from the charity stripe.
Guard Jalil Bethea
Sundra averaged 19.3 points, 1.5 rebounds and 2.3 assists in four games played. His best performance was against AZ Unity, when he scored 34 points on an ultra-efficient 14-of-17 clip from the field and 5-of-5 from deep.
Guard Christian Bliss
Bliss averaged 6.5 points, 4.5 rebounds, five assists and 2.3 steals in four games played. His best performance was against LivOn when he recorded seven points, five rebounds, eight assists and five steals.
Class of 2025
Trey McKenney (17U)
McKenney averaged 9.8 points, 5.5 rebounds, 2.8 assists and 1.3 steals in four games played. His best performance was against ProSkils when he scored 20 points and grabbed seven boards.
Cameron Boozer (16U)
Boozer averaged 26.3 points, 11.5 rebounds, 2.8 assists and 1.3 blocks in four games played. His best performance was against the Georgia Stars when he totaled a 32-point, 11-rebound double-double. Boozer shot 78% from the field through the first two EYBL sessions.
Cayden Boozer (16U)
Boozer averaged 10.8 points, three rebounds, 6.8 assists and 1.5 steals in four games played. His best performance was against the Georgia Stars when he totaled 10 points, eight assists and two steals.
Alexander Lloyd (16U)
Lloyd averaged 14 points, 2.3 rebounds and three assists in four games played. His best performance was against the Oakland Soldiers when he scored 17 points on an efficient 6-of-7 clip from the field and 3-of-4 from behind the arc.
