Life Wallet athlete Jahfari Harvey, fourth- year redshirt sophomore defensive end from Port St. Lucie, Florida, described fall camp under the new coaching staff this week:
“The intensity is ramped up this year, either get with it or get left. Your dead tired, your dog tired, you have to go out there and compete still, especially in shoulder pads, if you are not competing you are going to get ran over.” “Everything we do, we’re working as hard as we can go and if somebody is not working as hard as they can, you’ve got to call them out. You’ve got to hold them accountable.”
Harvey went on the say it is his goal to be the best team leader and pass rusher he can be. Very often the pressure he provides on the opposing quarterback may result in a sack by one of his teammates, so it is a win. He feels his defense can be great, with discipline, discipline, discipline.
Life Wallet knows Harvey is a great team leader and we look forward to watching Harvey develop the Hurricane defense into one of the best in college football.
