The Miami Hurricanes have ascended one spot to claim the No. 17 ranking in the AP Top 25 Poll. They also moved up one spot to reach No. 17 in the USA Today Coaches Poll on Sunday.

Miami (4-0, 0-0 ACC), initially unranked at the start of the season, garnered 589 votes from the AP poll, after receiving 523 votes last week.

Having enjoyed a well-deserved break during a bye week, the Hurricanes will return to the Hard Rock Stadium to face off against the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets (2-3, 1-1 ACC) on Saturday, October 7th, with the game scheduled to kick off at 8:00 p.m. EST. The game will be broadcast on the ACC Network. It’s worth noting that Miami secured a convincing 35-14 victory against the Yellow Jackets in their last encounter in 2022.

Among the ranked teams in the Atlantic Coast Conference, Miami stands alongside No. 5 Florida State (4-0, 2-0 ACC), No. 15 North Carolina (4-0, 1-0 ACC), No. 19 Duke (4-1, 1-0 ACC), and No. 25 Louisville (5-0, 3-0 ACC).
