The Miami Hurricanes have dropped from No. 25 to outside the AP Top 25 Poll on Sunday following a disappointing 41-31 loss to North Carolina at Kenan Memorial Stadium in Chapel Hill, North Carolina, last night.

Miami (4-2, 0-2 ACC), initially unranked at the start of the season, now finds itself unranked once again. The Hurricanes received one vote in the AP poll, compared to 74 votes last week when they were ranked No. 25 in the country.

The Hurricanes will return home to Hard Rock Stadium and prepare for another conference test as they get ready to face the Clemson Tigers (4-2, 2-2 ACC) on Saturday, October 21st. The game is scheduled to kick off at 8:00 p.m. EST and will be broadcast on the ACC Network. Notably, the Hurricanes have lost four consecutive games to the Tigers, with their last victory over Clemson occurring in 2010, a 30-21 win.

The Atlantic Coast Conference has four teams represented in the AP Top 25 Polls entering week 8: No. 4 Florida State (6-0, 4-0 ACC), No. 10 North Carolina (6-0, 3-0 ACC), No. 21 Louisville (6-1, 3-1 ACC), and No. 16 Duke (5-1, 2-0 ACC).
