The first one-of-one signed Arch Manning Panini trading card sold at auction this weekend for a record price of $102,500. The unique Prizm Black card made by Panini was sold at a charity auction through the company’s website and proceeds will go to benefit the St. David’s Foundation. The Arch Manning card is the most expensive autographed card sold through Panini to date, narrowly edging out a signed Luca Doncic card that brought in $100,000.
Along with the card, the buyer, who still remains unknown, will get a meet and greet opportunity with Arch Manning and will be acknowledged on the field during a game this upcoming season. For comparison, the most expensive sale on record for a Peyton Manning card was roughly $72,000.
It will be interesting to see how some of these investments in athletes that have yet to play at the college level will play out overtime. If Arch Manning ends up being as advertised, how high can the value of this card climb. On the contrary, if Manning doesn’t pan out, does the card continue to hold any value.
Arch Manning has already garnered a ton of attention and marketing deals before even playing a down at Texas. Manning has just stepped foot on campus and already has an NIL value of $2.8 million according to On3’s NIL Valuations. Currently, $2.8 million is the highest valuation given to any football player by On3 and ranks only behind Livvy Dunne and Bronny James overall.
